Privacy policy

We collect as little as possible. This page explains what that means in practice.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, without fingerprinting, and without storing personal data. We cannot identify you from it.

Affiliate links

When you click a link to Amazon or Etsy, the retailer or the Awin network may set a cookie in your browser so that a purchase can be credited to us. Those cookies are governed by Amazon's and Awin's privacy policies. We receive aggregate reports of clicks and sales, not your identity.

Our own server also counts each click on an affiliate link: the time, the product, the page the click came from, and the country the request came from. It sets no cookie and stores no IP address, so a count cannot be tied to you.

Photography

Photographs on this site are loaded from Unsplash's image service. Your browser requests them directly from Unsplash, which sees your IP address as any image host does. No cookies are set by those requests.

Contact

If you write to us we keep your message to reply to it and for nothing else. Questions about this policy go to the address on our contact page.
